The Lodge of Stability

What makes us the right Lodge for you?

The Friendly Lodge.

We think we’re one of the most welcoming and friendly Masonic Lodges in Leeds. Come along to Castle Grove, meet us and see if you agree.

Proud of our history. Looking to the future.

Our Lodge is proud of its roots and of its reputation as a Lodge that upholds Masonic traditions but we are also aware that Freemasonry is changing and we are a diverse and adaptable Lodge that is well-placed to adjust to present and future needs.

Opportunity & Support.

As a growing Lodge, the Lodge of Stability offers greater opportunities for all members to get involved, in a supportive and encouraging environment.

How to Join

The first step is to contact us and arrange to come and meet with us, usually one Wednesday evening in the bar at Castle Grove Masonic Hall in Headingley, Leeds, for an informal chat. You’ll get to meet some of the members of the Lodge and ask anything you want.

People normally visit us socially, at Castle Grove or at some of our open social events, a number of times over a few months before deciding to submit an application. This gives everyone time to work out if the Lodge is a good fit for you and vice versa. It also lets you work out if the time commitment is something that fits in with your family and work schedules.

The formal application process can then take a few months as you will have to be interviewed, proposed, and balloted for, and appropriate checks made, before a joining date can be fixed.
